I'm a Brooks guy. Been like that for years when in my opinion Nike started going for asthetics over actual functionality. But my wife brought me some flynit vapormax for my birthday about a year and half ago. Man they not only feel but they actually look good especially walking around in. 2 months later, I brought 2 more pair cause I know Nike likes to discontinue all the shoes I love

Are pegasus the wave? I tried them on once and didn't like them but I haven't ran in them

Word, i ran a lot in the brooks adrenaline gts a few years ago and liked them a lot

The pegasus is about as good as nike gets...they are pretty shallow in terms of drop compared to most brooks or Mizuno. Getting rainproof running (not trail) shoes is a chore outside of nike though so I went with the pegasus. I have about 90 mi in my most recent pair and they do the job but the mizuno is clearly superior and more stable.

They had tougher feet back then lol. I guess the early Jordans and other Nike air shoes of the 80s felt like heaven compared to Chucks and Blazers

And often it is fit. 1s fit true to size if not big...a lot of people are wearing aj1s a half size too big like i used to.
