My thing is...you can't have it both ways.
If you want a man to lead and have his money right and care for you, take you out, buy you gifts...then don't try to act like you're the one making all the decisions and running things. And learn how to make/keep a man happy.
If you want to share things and take more control over the relationship and everything and treat each other as equals, then don't be upset if he doesn't take the lion's share of the responsibilities...or if he doesn't place you on a pedestal and show that traditional paternal instinct.
