Every woman, on some level, is a little bit of a gold digger.
It just is what it is.
Women don't want to stick by a man while he's on the come up unless it's guaranteed (like a young kid who is on his way to being a pro athlete).
They can try to rationalize it any way they want. "He needs to be able to support me/our child..." but that opens up this whole historical gender roles argument, which modern females detest.
I frankly don't have a problem with any of it.
My thing is...you can't have it both ways.
If you want a man to lead and have his money right and care for you, take you out, buy you gifts...then don't try to act like you're the one making all the decisions and running things. And learn how to make/keep a man happy.
If you want to share things and take more control over the relationship and everything and treat each other as equals, then don't be upset if he doesn't take the lion's share of the responsibilities...or if he doesn't place you on a pedestal and show that traditional paternal instinct. Because it won't happen. Or maybe it will. But it'll come from a simp...and you won't respect him anyway.

That's where the concept of relationship/marriage/compromise comes into play. Many women want a man with drive and ambition that I will not sit on his butt. It is a woman's job to ensure that a man provide, many of the guys who are giving emotionally driven responses are taken an age old idea and are making it personal.

There are many women willing to build with a man some are successful and others are shafted. Its a not a guarantee that a man will stand by you.

I can honestly say im were im at in my life because of me. I made plenty of mistakes in my 20s the biggest not knowing what i wanna be...until now. I dont NEED no woman to believe in me or be with me
