The super max is a joke.

This is embarrassing. Washington waited too long to trade Beal and when they finally decided do it they get nothing for him in return.

These franchises keep throwing money at star players and have absolutely no idea how to build a winning team.

As for the Suns, this is dumb as hell. Beal isn’t a winner, and he’s a volume shooter. And his shot attempts will diminish making him less effective.

Breh if they built a winning team instead, the league would be boring as hell. Why do y'all keep wanting to have them make the right decisions???? Who would get fired? Who would we clown?

My point is they didn’t have it before Beal trade either.
And other peoples point is that just like before this deal they will still be losers if they don’t create depth
Bringing it up regarding this trade is a moot point. It’s the exact same roster but Beal for CP and Shamet. They were going to have a bunch of vet min regardless but now have a legit 3rd guy.
It’s not a moot point as their salary increases this year and next year and the constraints that Beals deal forces them into are even more prohibitive now as well as moving forward….especially once that second apron rule kicks in

Boston had depth out the ass …didn’t mean shyt when Jaylen Brown started dribbling like he had oven mitts on

Milwaukee had hella depth ..didn’t mean shyt when Giannis ankle twisted

nikkas SWORE the Lakers depth was gonna be an issue for Denver …didn’t mean shyt when Jokic turned into the terminator .

Sixers didn’t lose because of their lack of depth…Embiid just turned into a
p*ssy

The Miami Heats great depth was the Rico Hines open run all-stars

Its funny seeing people say that the Wizards needed to get rid of the Beal contract like he's Russell Westbrook on the Lakers :heh:
The Suns were on the cusp of potential waiving CP3, there's no way that you can only get 2nd rounders in return. Pick swaps are overrated, especially when you're the Wizards that are almost always lottery status. Over the next two years with the cap increasing they'll be players like Siakam, Dejounte Murray making over $40M/per, so Beal's contract compared to contemporary players won't be awful.
Thank you. Like cmon man. Tired or any time money comes up dudes act like it's their own money

Cats playing game of telephone like Bradley Beal was a negative asset you gotta attach a first to. Like cut it out this is a DISASTER of a trade for DC.

They let Bradley Beal's apparent disregard for playing for a winning team make them forget THEIR leverage which was if he doesnt accept a trade to another team he'll rot in dc. He would have blinked

Depth matters in the regular season, not the playoffs.

KD is getting old up there and from injury too.
You really think him playing 40+ mins in the playoffs is ideal especially how the west is stacked? :dead:

That team finna collapse either in the regular seasons or the playoffs

Nah.

That’s when they tell him and his fragile ankle joints to rest while Beal,Booker and Pops Mensah-Bonsu handle that Pistons -Pacers-Bulls road trip

My Pops Forever RIP
Keeping Beal is a complete non starter. You can’t build a winner with him as your best player. Washington ain’t exactly a FA hotbed so that’s out. Keeping him around makes you bad but not quite bad enough to win the lottery. Washington is doing the right thing which is clearing the decks and starting over fresh. Any other option only prolongs the inevitable
Beal to me isn't moving their needle drastically one way or another given how the roster around him is.

The Wizards roster is Oakland A's status. They don't have to spend money. Great, but for the next 2 years they'll just be trash AND cheap. Even with trades like this, normally we say, "at least they have this guy." The Johnny Davis pick, had he been all-rookie makes this easier to stomach. All they have is an expiring Porzingis. I don't even think they entertain an Avdija extension this summer. They haven't hit on their 2nd's.

They're a rare team that needs bodies at this point. Whoever they draft at #8 is their Wemby, whoever it is. Ausar Thompson? Their star. Cam Whitmore? Their star. Bilal Coulibaly? Selling tickets with him. Anthony Black? put the team on his back.

Let's assume CP3 goes to the Clippers for #30/Morris/Covington

C Porzingis (I'd assume he starts the year with them)
PF Morris /Avdija
SF Kispert
SG Davis
PG Wallace (8th pick)
