I don't think people understand how role players work. The better your stars, the less the role players have to do, the better they look.

Bruce brown is a great example. When harden and kyrie get hurt Bruce brown as your 3rd best player looks like a bum. In Denver Bruce brown as your 6th man looks like a godsend. They will find that easily.

ISpending is one thing: spending it responsibly is another. Those players are gonna miss too many games to establish the kind of chemistry necessary to beat a team like Denver. Everyone saw their weaknesses and thought, go trade Ayton for depth, get handcuffs for CP3 and KD when they miss time. Beal's not fixing that; we're just happy Beal gets to see if he can succeed or fail on this level. This is Valley Nets

If they can trade Ayton for 2-3 random players they’ll be fine …once again before this trade depth was going to be an issue. So do you want depth issues with KD ,Book and pieces from a Ayton trade or Depth Issues with KD,Book,Beal ,and pieces from a Ayton trade ?

And let’s not forget that the Nets were the Nets because Kyrie and Harden are two of the most dramatic nikkas to ever step on an nba court. …
