Clearance Thomas says birth control is next. The faux outrage over this decision is being drum up by blue state liberal elites who are mad they can't federally mandate the rest of the country to do what they want...They're also hyping the issue for the midterms because they have nothing else to run on...They're going to get fukking crushed and abortion is their hail mary attempt...Hence all the misinformation and pretending abortion is illegal in the country now when they fully know the SC just kicked it down to the individual states giving the voters the right to decide...

Exactly. If you can't run on your record then run on outrage. But if they actually did something for their constituents except make excuses. The Republicans wouldn't stand a chance. Yet they never seem to pass anything worthwhile even with a super majority.

New generation of criminals are about to be created in red states for buying condoms if Thomas gets his way
More white women have abortions than black women, so wouldn't that cancel out the black population voting power, if that's the logic you are using?
Black women have been experiencing induced abortions at a rate nearly 4 times that of White women for at least 3 decades, and likely much longer. The impact in years of potential life lost, given abortion’s high incidence and racially skewed distribution, indicates that it is the most demographically consequential occurrence for the minority population. The science community has refused to engage on the subject and the popular media has essentially ignored it. In the current unfolding environment, there may be no better metric for the value of Black lives.
In the United States, black children are aborted at more than three times the rate of white children; Hispanic children are aborted at one and a half times the rate. Whatever the intentions of Planned Parenthood, abortion is eliminating an incommensurate number of minority children.
they cant go back... how in the world is this country going to continue to be a major player on the global stage if they return to 1815?....
this was the best I could findPost the statics. What percentage of white women vs black women?
What are the demographics of women who had abortions in 2019?
In the District of Columbia and 47 states that reported data to the CDC in 2019, the majority of women who had abortions (57%) were in their 20s, while about three-in-ten (31%) were in their 30s. Teens ages 13 to 19 accounted for 9% of those who had abortions, while women in their 40s accounted for 4%.
The vast majority of women who had abortions in 2019 were unmarried (85%), while married women accounted for 15%, according to the CDC, which had data on this from 41 states and New York City (but not the rest of New York).
In the District of Columbia and 29 states that reported racial and ethnic data on abortion to the CDC, 38% of all women who had abortions in 2019 were non-Hispanic Black, while 33% were non-Hispanic White, 21% were Hispanic, and 7% were of other races or ethnicities.
Among those ages 15 to 44, there were 23.8 abortions per 1,000 non-Hispanic Black women; 11.7 abortions per 1,000 Hispanic women; 6.6 abortions per 1,000 non-Hispanic White women; and 13 abortions per 1,000 women of other races or ethnicities in that age range, the CDC reported from those same 29 states and the District of Columbia.
For 58% of U.S. women who had induced abortions in 2019, it was the first time they had ever had one, according to the CDC. For nearly a quarter (24%), it was their second abortion. For 11% of women, it was their third, and for 8% it was their fourth or higher. These CDC figures include data from 43 states and New York City (but not the rest of New York).
Four-in-ten women who had abortions in 2019 (40%) had no previous live births at the time they had an abortion, according to the CDC. A quarter of women (25%) who had abortions in 2019 had one previous live birth, 20% had two previous live births, 9% had three, and 6% had four or more previous live births. These CDC figures include data from 44 states and New York City (but not the rest of New York).
They also straight up stated they want to go after marriage and gay people next. Its wild seeing them line up and snipe Women/Gay people in order, and seeing nikkas think we aint next. They already been hinting at wanting to roll back civil rights.
