I just bought 15 plan B pills...They're 250 a pop if you're curious.
Based on the current data we have, the out of wedlock birth rates were lower pre Roe vs Wade than post Roe vs Wade, right? No matter what law is passed people not going to stop fukking raw
Wait, what??? SMH.They also just made a ruling that if the police don't read you your rights, you cannot sue them under federal civil rights laws even if evidence is used against them in trial due to self incrimination.
Depends on what state you are in most red states anticipated this and have already been working on laws that either ban it or severely limit abortion.I'm not good with political terms ...
Does this mean abortion is now illegal or legal nationwide? What are the effects of this?
Youre being obtuse. It don’t cost that much if you want to avoid having a kid.
They going after the Civil Rights act of 1965 and even the 13th Amendment in some way. Nothing is off limits.for those of you saying “yeah but they won’t do “x” it’s just fear mongering”
their party is being run by a bunch of religious extremists and white supremacists, you giving them way too much benefit of the doubt.
how many of yall thought roe v wade would be overturned 10 years ago?
look at what their party stands for, any of it is on the table and they gonna have control that court for at least the next few decades.
Without playing semantics: yes.while this is a compelling argument, the other side of the argument is constructed in a way that's hard to overcome with reason.
The response will always be: "So your answer is to kill the innocent baby?"
fukk that. Just think how Jan 6 happened. Anyone thought that shyt was even remotely possible in the US.for those of you saying “yeah but they won’t do “x” it’s just fear mongering”

While a Rep Senator in Alabama could easily vote No to codify Roe, a Rep Senator from NH would surely lose their seat. The bill would pass both houses easily if put up for a vote.Dems had a super majority because of conservadems who were largely anti-abortion. Also, that was a different time politically.
Furthermore, Dems don't really have a majority in the Senate right now. It's 50/50 (Kamala can only vote when there's a tie) and the filibuster exists. Dems in the House have passed bills protecting abortion but it's DOA in the Senate because of Republicans.
