Most of us aren't defending Martin, all we're asking for is evidence to justify the officers use of deadly force...It would be a closed case if there was visual proof Martin actually had a gun on him and considering the amount of cameras in the vicinity of this incident that shouldn't be a problem for the PD to provide...Right now all we have is that gif that is poor quality and inconclusive, all we can tell from it is Martin pointed something...What that something was cannot be confirmed by that angle...when asked about other cameras in the immidate vicinty of the incident the response we get is that they were all mysteriously disabled including both the officers body cam and vehicle dashboard cam...Only a fool wouldn't question this...

It really doesn't look as if he had been formally notified that he was being detained.

You see how he walked away as if they told him "go and stand over there for a second..."

No way to make any definitive conclusions one way or the other at this point.

When they found him, he was outside and had his back turned. They easily could have taken him out then but didn't.

This is what really makes me laugh. Why is it with Whites with Guns, 9/10 they are not shot and apprehended but Black people with TOY guns are shot on site, even a kid in a park with a toy gun is shot on site. With Blacks there's no questions asked. It's "He's Black, Shoot". With whites they seem to take more caution. Again I'm done debating with White people on this subject, it's impossible for them to understand. They can sympathize but they will never understand.
