Perfectly statedthey keep using language like "private business"
but these businesses are anything but private, they are operating in the public space and should be forced to render their services to the public or be shut down
saying that you dont agree with someones way of life was never restricted to these people: they could vocally say what they wanted
saying that they were not able to say what they want is a lie. This ruling stinks and the courts should be ashamed for the precedent they are setting
You still haven't explained the differenceServing a person food and hosting an event that promotes a lifestyle that against your faith is different.
It’s already a precedent set that corporations can discriminate on grounds on religious freedoms (which I disagree with but whatever it is what it is ) ..I just think if you’re a small business owner and a potential client wants you to fulfill an order that goes against your religious beliefs you shouldn’t be forced to do it ,and I’m not even religious .by rule: corporations and businesses are treated as individuals under law. So what they are saying is that the business as an individual has the right to discriminate on religious grounds which is ridiculous as you can use "religious" grounds to discriminate on just about anything your heart desires.
The Million Mensssss MarchDamn. Gay folks about to have a March on Washington singing we shall over come
