I look at it more as what teams do players always put on their list of trade destinations and where they want to go as FAs. Being around great players is always the first factor but after that? The city and fanbase. We saw Amare and Melo come to the Knicks. We just saw Brunson and co go to the Knicks. We just saw Kawhi, PG and Harden go the Clippers. Kobe literally had the Clippers on his short list as well when he was about to leave the Lakers.

KD and Kyrie were originally going to the Knicks and settled on the Nets. Dwight Howard went to Houston. PG went to Philly and Jimmy wanted to stay there. I could on and on but the point is, Miami is seldom in the mix for these sort of players. Chicago is usually on more short lists than Miami.
That's not true at all, Miami be on nikkas short lists and we just didn't have money or assets. Our last FA attempt was when Giannis decided to extend in Milwaukee. Before that we ain't have cap space since 2010. You're not getting a max player for MLE money.

You might’ve forgot that Wade came back for two years to end his career, and LeBron fulfilled his duties under his contract to the very last day. Don’t compare them to Jimmy

Like I said Jimmy isn’t doing it quietly and professionally the way Wade and Bron did, he’s letting his displeasure be known for all to see/hear, which has ALWAYS been his modus operandi.

Wade came back to end his career as a Miami lifer and because thats the ONLY situation in which Riley offered any sort of regret for the role he played in sweeping Wade out of the door like he was yesterday’s trash and not the most important player in the franchise history. I don’t blame Butler for doing what he has to to avoid that fate.

Jimmy isn't doing anything like Wade and Bron, don't disrespect them by mentioning their MOs, underlying or explicitly, in he same sentence.
One went to the highest bidding when his contract was over; which happened to be his hometown. The other didn't even worry about money, just finished his contract and left for his former team cause he had unfinished business there.

In no way or fashion can one compare that to what Jimmy has done in damn near every team he's played for :dahell:

The only way Lebron can even be mentioned is this is that he, Rich Paul and Mav Carter are in Kevin Loves comments laughing their asses off at all the Jimmy jokes.

Also this does not mean that Jimmy is wrong in what he does, it just means that it shouldn't be compared to Wade and Lebron.
It has been a successful strategy for him before to get what he wants, it's business at the end of the day :yeshrug:
