Ive been telling yall for years that PG is ass. There’s a reason why he’s only had one season in his career averaging over 25ppg. He’s never been that guy. Ever.
Yo it’s actually crazy when you think about it. nikka hasn’t even averaged 30 once :mjlol: And nikkas was saying PG better than Melo on here

PG in his prime was a 2 way player and nobody ever said he was a #1 on a title team

I get it's cute to box score watch and minimize like the last 12 years or whatever didn't happen, same shyt people do to Bron rn like he's always been this bad and missing dunks in warm ups that used to be certified layups to him. The problem is PG's 34 & Bron's ancient, they're old. What are people expecting lol. PG was frail in his prime

And I fukk with Melo too. But there's a reason multiple young guys like Brandon Miller say PG's their favorite player, he's the template for 2 way wings. Who said Melo was their favorite player and how high did they go in the draft

In his prime he was legit, but even at his best he was never a Top 5 guy. At his best he could be a borderline Top 10 guy, but the days of his "best" are long gone...

It never made sense for Philly to give him this deal but it also doesn't make sense for guys to talk about dude like he was ass. He had a ceiling, if he was your #1 the best case scenario was consistent playoff appearances and a conference finals run. He was always more suited to be a #2 but never really played with a real #1 until Kawhi---->who was always hurt...

When he retires there'll be people stumping for a HOF bid for him. To me, one of the 15 best players of his era. But Hall Of "Very Good" status, not a legit Famer...

Of his era, the only guys legitimately above him were:

LeBron
Steph
Durant
Kawhi
AD
Harden
Westbrook
Paul

PG falls in that next tier of dudes of Butler and Dame and Kyrie. So he's pretty easily a Top 12 player of his prime and generation, but being a Top 12 player at your best isn't Hall status to me. Basketball Hall let's everybody in so he has a shot, but if it were my call, you being Top 12 at your best isn't even a conversation starter...

But I will remember how good he was. Indiana PG was one of my favorite players, for some reason he was less likeable once he left Indy, I didn't enjoy really watching him anymore...

Man shut your bytch ass up. Only a fool like you would not put Dame, Kyrie or Jimmy clearly over PG. Im taking Derozen and Klay over PG too. He was probably the 15/16th best player of his era AT MAX. Foh and suck dikk. :camby:

Paolo (#1) said Bron and Melo were his favorite players growing up

Let’s not get crazy now. Paul George still clears that 1 dimensional scorer every day of the week.:whoa:

I’m taking Melo’s scoring and impact on the game than P’s so called “2 way” game. I’ve never seen it. He has stretches of playing great defense, he’s very capable but he was never on Kawhi’s level as a two way player and was never in any conversations for DPOY as a wing.

He never shut down guys like Melo/KD/Bron in their prime who he went up against. I’ve seen Kawhi lock all 3 up. Melo at least was a dog on the glass and was giving you at least 28-30 every night on good shooting splits.

At their absolute peaks, Melo’s scoring/rebounding > Paul’s “two way” game :manny:
