Morey is a moron. This should be his last GM gig. And the funny thing is other GM's before him were really bad in Philly as well.

They should have just kept Hinkie. Yeah it was the most blatant tanking, but they kept collecting draft picks in a kind of Sam Presti style. Maybe some of them would've converted into good players.

They got rid of Jimmy to keep Simmons and Tobias happy. Both sucked so they got rid of Simmons and got James Harden. Then they got rid of James Harden not wanting to pay him money and signed a worse player in Paul George for more money than James Harden would have asked for.

It's like a rabbit hole of bad decisions where the bottom of it will be the inevitable Joel Embiid trade and restarting the process.
