Fact: There is systemic violence and historical, often racist treatment of the underserved and less fortunate citizens of this country.
Fact: SOME of the criminals in the big cities should not be in regular circulation amongst the public.
Both things can be true at the same time
But to admit this would admit that progressive ideology or at least various aspects of it, is a failure.
And the Democratic Party cannot afford to admit that at this point in the game.
