I don't know what your argument is though.... Purdy is going to get paid like Dak etc.. That's not even a question. The advanced metrics that GMs and scouts look at rank Purdy very highly even when the offense isn't scoring a lot because he is making the right decisions and he is making the necessary throws most weeks.

If the Niners let Purdy go for nothing... what's plan B?
He shouldn’t be paid $60m. Plan B is the draft, trade free agency. You can’t cripple your team for Brock. I’m sorry. Other teams seem to be OK with that, doesn’t mean the 9ers should.

He’s getting it. That’s why when you have a breakout player on a cheap contract, you resign them before their contract year. He’s going to get top-5 money thrown at him in the off season.
