12 people actually voted yes. :gucci:

Brock is a system qb.

Paying him 50+ million a year would be insane.

those 12 people are whiners fans who deserve the poverty in the 21st century that theyve suffered thus far, please pay him :wow: :blessed:. dudes will learn that everybody aint howie roseman and lurie when it comes to roster management, maneuvering through the cap, hitting consistently in the draft and just not being a cheap owner overall. dak, tua and lawrence getting those contracts were dumb as fukk, and this will be too. especially at 60 fukking million :dead: :dead: :dead:. i dont think theyll actually pay him top of the market money though, dude better take 40-45 and call it a day.

I never said to trade him:what:

The point is there isn't much of a market for him because most teams have their guy, just signed a guy, are drafting a guy, or can't take on those salary demands.

This leaves him with less leverage in negotiations. Don't bid against yourself. Either get him on a fair deal or franchise him.

I fully expect them to cave and say he's their guy because that's what most teams do when there's questions. Dolphins did it with Tua and the Jags did it with Lawrence. Just use the tag and buy yourself another season to be certain they're worth the money.

and I fully expect the Niners to just do whats best for the team and will be fair.

Niners and Dolphins or Jags.

Also how long does certain need to be?

If Josh, Lamar dont get to the SB this year and they got 7 years (with yall willing to be patient for them for another 7yrs)? Would 9 be enough for Purdy since he’s accomplished more and had a better start than both of them with his only down year this year due to events out of his control?

Also all the other young guys, Purdy class and younger. Not of them are going to the SB and probably not in the next 2 years. When their deals come up, should CJ, Young, and Daniels not get paid?

So. Cal
Love didnt deserve a big contract at the time. Purdy does. Thats the difference you are failing to understand.
Loves contract is cap friendly. Hes not even top 10 paid this year. Hell, Geno is getting more than Love. Loves contract doesnt hit the cap hard until 2027. And thats the point i was making. As of now, hes worth what we paying him for which is 20 mil in 2024 and if Niners were smart, they do the same for purdy. Thats what YOU FAILED to understand

Hurts got $51M though

has a worse Playoff record than Brock, have less completions, less TD passes, less throwing yards, and more fumbles and INTs :russ:

Im gonna have @dora_da_destroyer make you her footstool if you keep acting up:ufdup:

I'll keep acting up, because even since you cross the Packers Line, and claim that I am 49'ers, I have done nothing but inject a lethal dose of poison to your beloved Santa Clara Niners. Your suffering must be more severe...

Quarterbacks are defined by playoff success or individual awards.
Wins are not a QB stat, they're a team stat. Joe Flacco has more playoff wins than Dan Marino and Drew Brees, is he a better QB than them? And what individual awards does Burrow have? I don't see no MVPs or All-Pros on his resume, and he's been surrounded by elite talent at the skill position his whole career unlike Herbert.

Until he lead his team to a conference championship minimum, he tier 2. He just 6'5 and white with a rocket arm
Justin Herbert is 26.

Age at first conference championship:
- Peyton Manning (27)
- Aaron Rodgers (27)
- Lamar Jackson (27)
- Drew Brees (28)

They were all tier 1 QBs by that point. Football is a team sport.

I never said the 9ers were rebuilding.
It makes zero sense for a team full of holes and needing help everywhere to pay 60 on a QB instead of getting one on a rookie deal. Ward and Sanders for cheap is better than Purdy when you're in a rebuild.
Like me, I think he thought you were talking about the 49ers here but I see you're talking about a potential Purdy suitor.

Who's considered the GOAT, Marino or Montana? Obviously there's exceptions and Marino is an MVP so no Flacco aint in that caliber. Burrow went to the superbowl and beat Mahomes in Arrowhead to get there with no o-line. Herbert gotta get to the playoffs multiple times first before he has a seat at the table

it’s easy to say don’t pay Purdy ..He’s not elite and will be overpaid …but do you want to risk being saddled with a minshew,Derek Carr,Aiden O Connell type QB which means you have ZERO shot at doing anything positive?

They’re not in the position to draft a QB this year (the next two drafts have said to be mid QB wise anyway ) and they had Darnold in their building last year…

An overpaid but competent above average QB is better than having nothing back there

He should probably get around 40-45 ..a little more then Baker but will end up around Goff which is too high but is the cost of doing business
