Brock is a system qb.
Paying him 50+ million a year would be insane.

I never said to trade him
The point is there isn't much of a market for him because most teams have their guy, just signed a guy, are drafting a guy, or can't take on those salary demands.
This leaves him with less leverage in negotiations. Don't bid against yourself. Either get him on a fair deal or franchise him.
I fully expect them to cave and say he's their guy because that's what most teams do when there's questions. Dolphins did it with Tua and the Jags did it with Lawrence. Just use the tag and buy yourself another season to be certain they're worth the money.
Loves contract is cap friendly. Hes not even top 10 paid this year. Hell, Geno is getting more than Love. Loves contract doesnt hit the cap hard until 2027. And thats the point i was making. As of now, hes worth what we paying him for which is 20 mil in 2024 and if Niners were smart, they do the same for purdy. Thats what YOU FAILED to understandLove didnt deserve a big contract at the time. Purdy does. Thats the difference you are failing to understand.

. dudes will learn that everybody aint howie roseman and lurie when it comes to roster management, maneuvering through the cap, hitting consistently in the draft and just not being a cheap owner overall. dak, tua and lawrence getting those contracts were dumb as fukk, and this will be too. especially at 60 fukking million

. i dont think theyll actually pay him top of the market money though, dude better take 40-45 and call it a day.
@Bryan Danielson you let Fatass Deebo bully Glock Purdy into throwing him the ball more? QB's suppose to be Leaders, not Yes-Men. That's definitely $75M a year material.
@Supa what rebuild are you talking about? All of the injured players on the Niners are assumed to be coming back next year.
Im gonna have @dora_da_destroyer make you her footstool if you keep acting up![]()
Wins are not a QB stat, they're a team stat. Joe Flacco has more playoff wins than Dan Marino and Drew Brees, is he a better QB than them? And what individual awards does Burrow have? I don't see no MVPs or All-Pros on his resume, and he's been surrounded by elite talent at the skill position his whole career unlike Herbert.Quarterbacks are defined by playoff success or individual awards.
Justin Herbert is 26.Until he lead his team to a conference championship minimum, he tier 2. He just 6'5 and white with a rocket arm
What kind of crack he smoke…?
I never said the 9ers were rebuilding.
Like me, I think he thought you were talking about the 49ers here but I see you're talking about a potential Purdy suitor. It makes zero sense for a team full of holes and needing help everywhere to pay 60 on a QB instead of getting one on a rookie deal. Ward and Sanders for cheap is better than Purdy when you're in a rebuild.
Who's considered the GOAT, Marino or Montana? Obviously there's exceptions and Marino is an MVP so no Flacco aint in that caliber. Burrow went to the superbowl and beat Mahomes in Arrowhead to get there with no o-line. Herbert gotta get to the playoffs multiple times first before he has a seat at the tableWins are not a QB stat, they're a team stat. Justin Herbert is 26.
Age at first conference championship:
- Peyton Manning (27)
- Aaron Rodgers (27)
- Lamar Jackson (27)
- Drew Brees (28)
They were all tier 1 QBs by that point. Football is a team sport.
