Caleb gonna thrive next season :wow:
So Eddie George was just a Rooney Rule obligation.

"Let's fly this guy in who's coaching that backwoods college to make sure we check all the boxes. Give him a suite too"

they already interviewed the interim coach so that woulda fulfilled the Rooney rule. Don’t understand why they interviewed George unless it was a minimum quota that had be fulfilled

Think there has to be 2 interviews. It's why the Patriots got shyt on for interviewing 2 black candidates the same day.

:pachaha: If the Bears do get him, they better blow their opponents out to be safe.

Because if the game is close and they need a clutch stop, Stinky's patented "Two-Minute Defense" WILL kick in. :scusthov: :scust: :hhh:
We had to have some of the worst garbage time defenses ever, even when we were good.

It'll be interesting to see what Ben Johnson does for the Bears.

Caleb needs to get quicker at making his reads, and he needs to be better at giving his receivers a chance at catching the football. It seemed like for most of the season he either didn't see Rome Odunze getting open or he was inaccurate on his throws. And it felt like the only time he could consistently get DJ Moore the football was on WR screens.

They really peppered Keenan Allen with targets this season but his best days are behind him.

Chicago almost definitely needs to draft their RB of the future. Roschon Johnson hasn't shown the ability to be a full-time player and D'Andre Swift really faded as the season went on. The thing is, I'm not sure they're going to find that guy in the 5th or 6th round.

The Bears 2025 draft picks:

1-10
2-39 (from Panthers)
2-41
3-72
5-TBD
6-TBD (from Steelers)
7-TBD (from Browns)
7-TBD (from Bengals)

You'd think the Bears won't take any skill players early on. It's likely going to be the best OLs available to protect Williams, or possibly some Edge Rusher.

Caleb Williams was sacked a league-leading 68 times this past season.
Ben Johnson is coming off a Detroit Lions team that saw the statue of Jared Goff get sacked just 31 times. The agenda is clear.

As a Lions fan, I'm pretty intrigued to see how this goes for Johnson. Personally, I've felt he's overrated but he's had an insane amount of hype the past couple years. We will find out if he's the guy people say he is.
