P.S. Props on the Luther show, I haven't checked into Homeland yet but Luther is pretty decent so far. Is it cancelled though? I only see 10 episodes. It also threw me off at first with the British accents

New eps start in July.

As far as "Luther", it ain't cancelled, they are filming season 3 now. Shows overseas are weird, the first season was only 6 eps, season 2 was 4 eps, and season 3 will be 4 eps then they're gonna do a movie.

They only had 8 written/filmed. If they wrote/filmed all 16 at once we would've had to wait from October 2011 (when season 4 ended) until (at the earliest) spring 2013.

This show has the longest lead time in TV. Lead time is how long it takes them to map out the story before they actually start writing the scripts. Seasons 1-4 each ep took about 2 weeks, season 5 started creeping into 3 weeks per ep, and these last 8 eps are damn near taking a month each.
