No. The writing especially in The Wire is on another level compared to any show. And I'd also argue the ensemble acting is better.

I really like Breaking Bad but it often stretches into absurd territory with some of the writing, coincidences, etc.

To me, The Wire>The Shield>The Sopranos>Breaking Bad

Not for me...Skylar's character keeps it from being cream of the crop. I just wanna fast forward every scene this bytch is in. That bytch is more of a cancer than Walt's actual cancer.

I don't think Skylar's a bad character (or the woman playing Skylar a bad actress). She's just pissy to Walt and always complaining, so naturally she's annoying.
