Breaking Bad doesn't deserve to sit at the table with The Sopranos and The Wire

I initially came in here to do my usual "Breaking Bad" spiel but in this thread I've seen people say:

1. "Breaking Bad" is over rated.
2. "The Wire" doesn't belong next to "The Sopranos"
3. "The Sopranos" is wack.
4. "The Shield" is garbage.
5. fukk "Game Of Thrones".

I'm sitting here reading the thread like:

I don't even know where to begin. If nothing else the fukkery will be off the charts, thus the sticky.

Fred.

I'm reading this thread like :dwillhuh:. And I haven't even made it pass the first page yet.

:laff:

All of those shows are GOAT status. People are just arguing preference now...

I will say this though... Out of all the shows that have ended on that list. The Shield still has the best payoff :sas2:

Yeah mine to it didn't have many wasted episodes and each season felt different while keeping up with the shows plot. It will always just suffer from Vic Mackey's outlandishness, but he will always be a top 5 character to me.

Also gotta salute Forrest Whittaker for killing it as Kavanaugh:ohlawd:

Can't find this show streaming anywhere which is damn shame tho:beli:
It was on Netflix for a long time

yeah, i would agree with the OP.

i think it has produced some of the best episodes of TV ever but as much as i loved it, for me it falls just below The Sopranos and The Wire.
probably Mad Men too but i don't want to give it that solidified spot til i watch it again once it's all over.

also, maybe it's just me..like a lot of the love you saw for Breaking Bad (kinda the same with GOT) from people was a bit false at times.
it might just be because it's on in the twitter era and it might have been the same if they had it when The Soprano's and The Wire was on.

No Sons of Anarchy love?:lolbron:

The fukkery comes back tomorrow night :blessed:

But nah on the real Sopranos is GOAT, followed by Game Of Thrones, then The Wire, and lastly Breaking Bad

Boardwalk's potential could have easily made it top 3 but they fell short big time...and this last season being 8 episodes and skipping mad shyt was just :scusthov:...hopefully it ends strong

*Sidenote* I really liked House of Cards too...Walking Dead had a spark when it started...and I can't front LOST had me glued in...binged watched the whole series on netflix...didn't watch anything else but LOST, had a nikka thinkin he was on that island :pachaha: dope show

AJ and his entire character arc was never well received. Ever. To claim otherwise is some internet history rewriting bullshyt.

Likewise with "Homeland". You exist in an alternatve universe where Dana Brody isn't seen as a WOAT character contender. Meanwhile I'm in the real world where the character was written off the show:

I guess you'll stop watching "Homeland" since they cut out such an integral part of the series, right? :mjlol:

Fred.
That bytch gone?

BB can be a doorman. A waiter, maybe. But Walter White ain't breakin bread with Omar Little, Vic Mackey and Tony Soprano. Not today, not tomorrow, and not ever.

I will say, however, that Bryan Cranston IS. THAT. DUDE.

I honestly can't rewatch that show it was so crazy. No matter what happens I will never take the shield out of the top 5 :wow:

I had to walk that shyt in spurts, my head was hurting so bad not knowing who to root for. I mean, Mackey was a fukking terrible guy. TERRIBLE. But I would find myself mad at Claudette and Dutch for breaking up his groove. "Ol law-abidin ass muhfukkas, messin with my boy Vic..."
