I'm on episode 21 season 1.....say it ain't so
If I had a time machine I would've told you two not to even bother with season 1. I liked season 1 a lot but there's no point in watching past that because 2 is a slow fall off and season 3 and 4 drop off a fukking cliff. Then it got cancelled, so there's zero resolution to anything.

damn fanboys sensitive as fukk. OP is not the 1st person to say season 1 was slow and won't be the last. I quit after 4 or 5 eps for the same reason. Only reason I went back is I just happened to be flipping through channels and

I always considered Breaking Bad just another entertaining show. It wasn't until they brought in Saul, Gus, & Mike that I thought the show started to become on some next level shiit imo. Those characters definitely brought it to the next level

I wouldn't even consider it being sensitive it's just the thread was made wrong. Imagine me making a thread saying I just listened to the first track of the chronic and I'm not feeling it so the album cant be considered a classic.

man.. the first 2 seasons were slow as hell. it took me more than a couple tries to really push through.
it definitely picks up towards the end of 2.. then it just keeps getting better. seasons 4 and 5
to ME.. bb was a show that made up for its lows with ridiculous peaks.
and in the first 2 seasons.. shyt happened.. but it felt like the peaks took too long to come around.
when they really start making money, the stakes are raised.. and the story moves at a faster pace. it becomes a more enjoyable and admittedly, easier, watch. does anyone prefer seasons 1+2 over 4+5?
i don't rewatch dramas.. but bb is one of the very few that i might do just that.. i think i'd DEFINITELY enjoy the first 2 seasons more.
