I think at this point why bother:yeshrug: these dudes aint trying to go, and will keep finding reasons why they shouldn't.
if we're really real, brazil is not a haven for anyone

white people there hate it too right now :yeshrug:

let your perception of a country be influenced by world cups and porn and you're bound to be wrong as fukk

Yes really....I've documented it too so :manny:

where did you go?

I'm speaking in terms of aggregating content on the ground (chief boima, BlackWomenofBrazil, latinamericaisacountry)

More Blacks attending secondary schools, pardo presidential candidates, the 1st Black studies undergraduate program just got created, people mobilizing frequently for "Black Lives Matter," a huge shift in people claiming Black ancestry, etc

Baby steps but you seemed to imply nothing is happening?

I hope more people of a certain fabric stop going to Brazil honestly :beli: the cats who aint doing shyt but chilling on the beach all day and tricking, trying make thier porno fantasies come true...they can keep their ass in the US of A....I've been past the mentality where Brazil is just a vacation spot to get away from America...it's bout to be my new home and I plan on connecting conscious Afro Brazilians with their American counterparts and start making moves...we are the 2 biggest African Diasporas in the New World...we need to be doing business

and making English/Portuguese speaking babies :shaq:

i wont say nothing is happening, baby steps is correct, i guess, really small baby steps

the systemic racism of brazil is even more repressive than this country's. any progress is really fragile, but any progress should also be lauded so perhaps i was making too broad of a generalization in saying it didnt exist
