Here's an example:

Everytime i wake up in the morning with no recollection of how i got home, i make sure my car is there and say "Driving home last night was a mistake."
Because you know is wrong after you do it doesn't make it a "mistake". Because you regret it doesn't make it a "mistake".
the intent is there,

What? If I think 3+3 is 7. I'm wrong. I'm not purposely wrong. I'm mistakenly wrong.

Also I'd like to know how the stabbing actually happened I was playing fake knife fight/ cops and robbers with my cousins at that age and we could have accidentally stabbed and killed each other

Same here. Reminds me of the time where my little sister almost stabbed my cousin in the head / eye. :whew:

The point is to separate the action from the thought.

Him drinking and than driving, wasn't a mistake. The thought of it, wasn't a mistake.

In hindsight, the action was a mistake when you factor in the trouble it caused.

It doesn't change the fact that he meant to do it,

Your argument is flawed. Everybody knows and says alcohol impairs judgement. If my judgement is impaired oce intoxicated, I can not make a conscious decision to do anything. Therefre I can't "intentionally" do anything at that point. I made a conscious decision to consume alcohol sure, I could've also made the decision to call a cab and then became so intoxicated I forgot my plan and drove home.

Only, in this case, it wasn't the first time he drank and drove. I thought I said that? How many times can an action be labeled an accident? Also, that wasn't the argument that the defense used. They agreed that he intended to drink and drive, as he had the other time he drank and drove. The argument they used was that he was too rich to know better.

it's a lose lose for everybody involved

the most telling part for me is the self-fulfilling prophecy of the kid saying he was bad

he's more likely to do things just because people been telling him he's bad all his life, and now he uses it as his explanation for his actions

As the youngest person ever charged with first-degree premeditated murder in Kent County, Jamarion’s home for the foreseeable future is the Kent County Juvenile Detention Center.

His every move is monitored not by his parents - who have lost custody of the boy - but by the 101 staff members where he stays with other children being detained at the center on the city's Northeast Side.

He is its youngest long-term resident.

Jamarion is charged with the fatal stabbing of 9-year-old Connor Verkerke at a Kentwood playground on Aug. 4. Authorities have said the attack was unprovoked and that Jamarion called 911 after allegedly knifing the other boy, telling a police dispatcher "I want to die. I'm tired of life."

Jamarion's mother and stepfather have been charged with child abuse after the young suspect was found to be covered with bruises after his arrest, and told police about being beaten with a belt and electrical cord.
This bruh needs help...I don't agree with the judges decision to try him as an adult especially after seeing that the parents were charged with child abuse....its obvious there were problems in the home as well that may have led to the boy stabbing the other boy...the justice system is a joke and treats young black men unfairly.....buy you nikkaz know this....

Drunk driving and stabbing someone cant be compared to me. Most people who drive drunk dont say hey i want to kill someone. The behavior is reckless and dangerous but the intend to kill is definetly not their for most people.
