ill tell you this. Thurman did do lil better with the inside fighting and had a lil better stamina.

but it seems the way to really hurt him is to go the body...that's the only way porter hurt him.

Naw i went to the fight and i was surrounded by mexicans and they all thought maidana won. I notice alot of latinos hate floyd though so that probably played a part in it lol

Mexicans I know think Floyd lost 10 times already I wouldn't take they opinion serious.

Had the samescore as the judges, 7-5 Thurman (as well as Paulie and Bernstein thinking Thurman won). The rounds Porter won were close.

Honestly seemed pretty easy to score to me, was shocked when I came in here and saw so many people thinking Porter deserved the nod.

Porter as usual smothered his inside work and to me Porter's edge on the inside wasn't very big, as Keith landed a lot of counters back.

The surprising number to me was punches landed and that they were one punch apart. From watching it seemed like Keith landed a lot more punches. Maybe because Keith was more accurate and his punches were far cleaner.

Also surprised how well he kept Porter off him. I was worried Porter would dominate the style of the fight, but most the fight was fought at Thurman's distance, which allowed him to land his bombs. Porter's chin deserves credit.

Personally would prefer to see Garcia-Thurman now, but there are worse fights then seeing Thurman and Porter run it back. I thought their styles might make for an ugly fight, but it was a FOTY contender and visually pleasing.
