I had it 115-113 #Thurminator:manny:

Fight was close enough to not be a robbery. I can see a draw and understand if anybody had it for Porter 115-113. Its like I said when the sparring video was leaked. Thurmans flashy showy punches that land clean as fukk versus Porters hustle punches that come in bunches, but not that clean or effective. shyt is FOTY to me and I hope it did good ratings wise. Great clash of styles that actually panned out how you would expect it to at the top level. Brook controlled Porter better, but he never gave it his all offense wise and rocked Porter as much as Thurman did. I had Brook winning that one 8-4 or 7-5. Fight was kinda meh entertainment wise since neither guy landed their money punch effectively enough. With Thurman and Porter, both guys did what they did best. Just the boxing IQ displayed was kinda low, but it still made for a great fight.

Thurman was giving out that work early and hurting Porter and seemed to be in control for most of the first half, but then Porter took the momentum and outworked and bullied Thurman ( Think Glen Johnson vs Tarver 1) during the middle rounds. Thurman would take the championship rounds by just landing the cleaner shots.

Both guys made the fight harder by not fukking jabbing :snoop:

Both dudes kept running or walking after each other :mindblown: shyt was like a mummy fighting a werewolf.

Tonight was the night of the uppercut though. :ohlawd:

I agree. What was more impressive to me in Thurman's win vs. Brook's, is that Brook won the fight of his jab, Thurman won off of power punches.

That's literally what saved Thurman. Once Porter tasted that power he became more cautious & didn't maul Thurman like his other opponents. He mauled him in spots

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
Porter controlled that fight from the start
:what:

How???? Just because he kept it close, which is his style, AND STILL GOT OUTLANDED AND STUNNED MORE TIMES. U got it wrong fam. Thurman
"controlled" that fight. He was beating Porter at his comfort zone. His accuracy on his counter punches were amazing. Even on the ropes, Thurman was landing the better punches, period. Porter's agression should mos def get credit, most nikkas woulda been reader by that pressure.

I'm fukkin shocked at just how well Thrrman was handling that shyt. He did not back up and exchanged punches from everywhere. You don't win fights by just simply being aggressive, you gotta land clean punches. Porter was wild as fukk (the most effective wild fighter I have seen in a while :obama:) and Tgurman was cool, calm, and collective no matter how much pressure was put on. THIS IS WHAT MAKES HALL OF FAME LEVEL HISTORIC FIGHTERS. After the 1st round, I thought Thruman might get shook from the pressure, that nikka actually fought better against that shyt.

Great fukkin fight. I admit, it was hard to judge, but the eye test CLEARLY showed Thurman being the better fighter. Some of y'all nikkas crazy.

I always said Thurman isn't a powerful puncher, and his KD's are caused by WEAR HE LANDS THE PUNCH

He never landed on the temple or the side of the head above the ear, so he didn't drop Porter. Porter literally walked through his jabs.

When Broner finally connected his left hook he dropped Porter with ease lmao, Thurman hit him with left hooks with everything he had and Porter ate him.

Spence would mow through Thurman, I'd say in 5 rounds because his body work is beyond vicious, and thurman is easily there and doesn't have the power to keep him at bay.

Thurman has good power, but KO's & KD's always slow down as your competition increases.

Thurman has more pure power than Broner. Broner has faster hand speed & Porter didn't see it coming. It's boxing. These things happen.

Porter has an excellent chin.

I really don't like posts saying a guy was exposed when he is fighting one of the best guys in the division & by far the toughest guy on his resume. Of course it was going to be a tough fight.

Fight was lit fam :wow:

Throw Danny n Thurman at Barclays :whoo:

I think I lost my voice yelling at Thurman dumb ass to jab man he made that way harder than he should have by looking to load up too much.

He is enamored with his power but I think his boxing is his bread and butter. He aint Mike Tyson toss that shyt in the bushes and box nikka I had 7-5 close but clear for One Time.
