The villain absorbs jutsu and releases it twice as devastating with his eyes. Boruto's vanishing rasengan with naruto's chakra was the only way of getting a clean hit on him. How is that not believable? All they could've done was knock him unconscious but they would've never beat him without it. Sasuke saw this and used Boruto.

That's what happens when you watch clips. If you watched the episodes before, you'd know that both Naruto and Sasuke were both under full power. What happened to Frog Kata? Jiraiya had so many cold techniques Naruto should be doing more. Kishi comes up with cool stuff and just forgets it. Why is Konohamaru so lame? nikka stay looking soft in every mission.

That Zabuza/Haku arcI think the problem with Boruto is that he's not a very likable character. He's one of those arrogant ninjas Naruto would have smashed back in his school days.
They also make all the old original ninjas look weak af. They make the kage look soft as hell (2 kage fighting some lame with a fishing pole?)
