Damn good essay on how to imagine another future for Africa by decolonizing the minds. Not sure if it's translated in english yet (will def be at some point, too good of a book not to be), highly recommended for another interested in Africa.

Hit me with some non fiction brothers. Something I can learn from. Maybe something business or financial or even an autobiography

JUST saw a friend of mine reading A Darker Shade Of Magic:ohhh:

Should I check it out?
I read the first one, Not bad but also not that great. Interesting World she made though.

I've been reading reading the second set of Mistborn books by Brandon Sanderson. I think I like this part of whatever Sanerson has planned more than the last trilogy set 300 years in the past. The characters feel more real to me, and also it seems like he took in whatever criticisms were laid at his feet in the first 3 books and changed his writing style.

I'm currently reading Steelheart. Brehs.....you gotta check it out. It's based on the premise, "What if all of a sudden, some people were turned into super hero like beings......And they were evil"

It's pretty interesting because the powerful people are jackasses and they don't have a counterbalance. They rule, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. But.....all of them have some sort of weakness that they guard with their lives.

I finished the last Harry Potter book a couple days ago. It's not bad, but i feel like it was unnecessary.

I'll definitely be checking this out. I just read the synopsis on GoodReads. My only hope is that they don't turn it into some whack version of The Hunger Games or something like that. All these movies that come out nowadays seem to want to make any sci-fi movie with young actors in the vein of Hunger Games.
