reading all the James Bond Ian Fleming novels. im on Moonraker right now. Live and Let Die was something i started a while back but it was too racist for me to continue. compared to casino royale it was terrible. I heard Moonraker is the best one so im looking forward to reading that.

Also, Im currently going to start reading all of Bret Easton Ellis' novels. Im almost finished American Psycho, one of my favorite movies and the book might be even better albeit a very difficult read for how disturbing it is because the novel is all on Batemen the serial killer's viewpoint. contemplating on if i should start with 'Rules of Attraction' or 'Less than Zero'

Not gonna post the books I read in french, so the last book I read in english was The Man in the High Castle. Can't lie, I was bored as hell most of the book and I really don't get what was the point. It's like he created this whole alternate dystopian reality that he doesn't really exploit. TBH at one point I was even wondering if there was another book with the same title, since it's supposed to be a classic.

Also read this very very good poetry by a young breh from London, really enjoyed it (even though I obviously missed some stuff due to not knowing all the slang). He mixed it up with some nice photos too.

Can never find the other book thread on here.

Did my groceries and accidentally walked into the bookstore after loading them into my car and bought this:

:blessed:

I've been watching some of Jason Wilson's videos on YouTube and he is a brilliant brother. Definitely ordering those books.

Have to stop buying books...

Finished Red Rising and Golden Son. I don't know what it is but there's an epic, almost mythological feel in these books like the reader can understand just how unprecedented the MC's actions are. I'll likely read all five books. First time I've completed a series since ASOIAF except for the Warlord Chronicles but that was only a trilogy.

A strange plague called the ‘Gets is decimating humanity on a global scale. It causes people to forget—small things at first, like where they left their keys, then the not-so-small things, like how to drive or the letters of the alphabet. Their bodies forget how to function involuntarily. There is no cure.

But now, far below the surface of the Pacific Ocean, deep in the Mariana Trench, a heretofore-unknown substance hailed as “ambrosia”—a universal healer, from initial reports—has been discovered. It may just be the key to eradicating the ‘Gets.

In order to study this phenomenon, a special research lab, the Trieste, has been built eight miles under the sea’s surface. But when the station goes incommunicado, a brave few descend through the lightless fathoms in hopes of unraveling the mysteries lurking at those crushing depths…and perhaps to encounter an evil blacker than anything one could possibly imagine.
