Infamous - 595,397,032 streams :wow:
E.1999 Eternal - 314,745,933 :scust:

Nearly 2 to 1 :mjlol:

Just for good measure :mjlit:
Creepin On Ah Come Up - 144,615,515 :picard:
Add that number up with the one I said before
You are looking at two quadruple platinum albums that can’t outstream a gold album from an underground NY group :scusthov:

@JustCKing come hold this L :damn:
@Mike Wins you see this shyt :heh:

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Another interesting stat is Boyz II Men. I know they are R&B, but they were the biggest selling R&B group of the 90's. They had an album that went 12X platinum and another album that went 9X platinum. They last album they dropped in the 90's was 2X platinum. They have 4.8 million monthly listeners. Compare that to Blackstreet. Their biggest album went 4X platinum. Their other albums only went platinum in the 90's. They have 4.7 million listeners.

Got a date with a chick tonight...

Gotta scoop her up around 8... and as a social experiment, I'm going to do something as egregiously nefarious and social faux pas'd by playing an entire Mobb Sleep album while we're heading to town and going to see if that'll help me get the lay.

Shiiit... i'll be surprised if she doesn't block me and ubers it home mid-date.

Swear this is all comedy to me...

Just make sure you don’t play Bone. She won’t recognize it :dead:
At least with The Infamous, which is one of the highest streaming rap albums of the 90s, there’s a chance she’ll recognize it.

:laff: at Mobb Deep being NY underground. They definitely weren't some underground rap group. You're talking like they were Group Home.

See my Boyz II Men example. There is no rhyme or reason why a group that had a 12X platinum and a 9X platinum album would be out streamed by a group (Blackstreet) whose biggest album was 4X platinum. Try selling the narrative that Blackstreet is more timeless than Boyz II Men.

I think that saying Infamous is one of the highest streaming rap albums of the 90's would be stretch. There are likely 25-30 90's albums with more streams.

We are no longer living in the unknown.
Big Willie Style has more.
Gamgstas Paradise.
Lauryn.
Fugees.
36 Chambers.
Predator.
The Four albums we already knew.

Infamous outstreams:
All the Outkast albums. 90s only of course
Every other Wu album. Including solos.
Warren G’s album.
Puff’s album.
Harlem World.
Tribe’s albums.
Hammer
Vanilla Ice
All Cypress albums.
All other Pac albums.
All Nas albums
All Jay albums
All DMX albums.

Let me know if you want me to check anything else.
Right now I’ve got it at #11.

And close to 55% of Infamous's streams are from one song. Combined with "Survival of the Fittest" and "Temperature's Rising", three songs account for 82% of that album's listens.

That’s very common actually. Run the numbers on the Bone albums and you’ll see similar percentages.
Gamgstas Paradise is 99% Gangstas Paradise :russ:
Predator is pretty much all Today Was a Good Day.
Illmatic and 36 Chambers on the other hand are more even.
Nice attempt at spin though. :lolbron:
I know you are as shocked by this as I am.
I would not have expected Infamous to crack the top 50.
Its the lowest selling album amongst the top 12. It’s clear that, in reviewing all the context, Infamous has stood the test of time more than any 90s album.

That wasn't a spin. I expect that a lot of these albums are going to be driven by the singles in terms of streaming. I brought it up because you are still running with this narrative that these streams make Infamous more timeless which is essentially the same as when people run with the narrative that an album is good because it sold more. And I don't know how you conclude that Infamous has stood the test of time more than any 90's album when there's clearly other albums ahead of Infamous and clearly some of them have more even plays distributed through the track list than Infamous even the ones that have less total streams.
