Receipts for the claim about about a person having to stream six different songs from an album for the streams to count for RIAA certification purposes for album certification.

For album certification purposes, the rules are different:

The Album Award counts album sales, song sales and on-demand audio and/or video song streams at the formula of 1,500 on-demand audio and/or video song streams = 10 track sales = 1 album sale.

About the Awards - RIAA

This is what I understood it to be.
This doesn’t say anything about six songs. Were you wrong about the six song requirement?

This is a bit outdated, but Mobb Deep is at #12. Same as now. Surprised The Chronic isn’t on there since Doggystyle was streaming so much.

Exactly. There's a lot of big albums that aren't there like X's, Juve's 400 Degreez. None of Jay's albums appear because his music wasn't available on Spotify.

That list is from October 2021. Only real change is that Doggystyle was removed from Spotify. 2001 probably has a significant increase because of the Superbowl. Same goes for All Eyez On Me and SSLP.

Juve doesn’t stream much at all.
X’s albums aren’t beating Infamous.
Good point about Jay. Vol 2 might pass Infamous one day.

Predator passed Infamous as well.

Yeah and X was significantly bigger than most artists during the 90's, yet none of his albums appear on the list. Doesn't mean he didn't have timeless music or that he's being out streamed by music that is more timeless than his.

With the exception of his first album, his albums were uneven. He has massive songs though, which makes sense.

VERY surprising to see the whole Gangstas Paradise album up there. I would’ve assumed just the singles would get play off that
99% of the streams are Gangstas Paradise. It may be the biggest song of the 90s. You would expect it to be Crossroads, but Bone’s music has not stood the test of time.

Even I agree with everything in this post, by your own logic and standard, It's Dark And Hell Is Hot is expected to be on this list considering it went 4X platinum. It's not there, so are you conceding that that IDAHIH isn't timeless?
