It’s not bad. I’m not a huge Cool Kids fan though, but since they’re literally fam it’s cool they get a look on one of the best albums this year. Beat almost reminds me of some video game shyt.

I’m mostly looking forward to the new solo joints and the Elcamino joint.
Man I wanna say Alc played this beat with a Prodigy verse on his live before...I remember he was talking about how P could rap over any type of beat and he was talking about how it sounded like he used pots and pans to make

Edit: Nevermind it was a different beat...6:52

Nobody wants a review of 4 bonus tracks but I'm gonna do it anyways. My whole thing with Boldface EP is that in hindsight it sounded like leftovers from Tea in China (which turned out to be true). I kind of get that vibe with these 4 tracks besides Bernadines. I just can't get into Cool Kids that much :dame: and the production on the joint with Elcamino isn't strong enough for me to be interested as a final track.

Bernadines is fire as hell though :wow: and I wish would've made the regular album sequence. Sounds like the same drums as Slow Roll too. The rest of these bonuses are cool, and I'll play them, but Bernadines is the main one that's as good as the rest on Tea in China. (and maybe Belvedere if it grows on me more). The Belvedere sample reminds me of Fallen Soldiers Remix by Cormega, but I know it's not.

I love that I've been calling this album an "less flossy Reasonable Doubt through Detroit's eyes", and on Bernadines there are Reasonable Doubt bars and homages throughout.

I like the other 3 tracks..but that bernadine track sounds off beat or something
Word? Boldy is rhyming behind the drums but other than that it didn't sound too off-kilter to me. It reminds me a lot of Slow Roll. Similar sample Same drum sounds, but on Slow Roll the snare is a turned up a little louder and there are 808's for the kicks.

Belvedere beat is pretty nice dope track. Bernadines Is dope af too ur right should’ve been on the album would’ve sounded perfect. Slow rolls my favourite track on tea. The boldface ep sounded like straight throwaways besides this one song with a trap feel I forgot what the tracks called

I was gonna say about the "Belvedere" sample too. I really like that track, can see it fit more on "Boldface" - EP which I like and still play. I liked the first 3 bonus tracks, last one was alright. All in all, this album is a strong contender for the year

Wow I didn't know any of that.

I definitely think his flow and word play are way improved. The word play on Running is really slick. Speed Demon is one of my least favorite beats on Tea in China but the flow on the 2nd verse is super dope to me. Perfect examples of why I like Boldy.
he was gone breh... dude was walking around with baby bottles of lean. you could hear it all in his music.
