Me too. At least production-wise/total package-wise. .

I gotta give Boldface another shot. I not only didn't care for it but I damn near hated it when it dropped.
I didn't care for it either initially, but after playing this, I went back to it and it just "clicked" :wow:

Boldy James whole style started to make sense really, I actually appreciate M1CS more now.

I gotta give M1CS another listen. It was my favorite produced project of his in the 2010's behind Covert Coup, but I thought a lot of the songs could've used 1 less verse, because I got bored with Boldy. If it was 2020 Boldy I would love it, because I think he's improved so much. I'll try go back and listen to it though with a new appreciation for the rhyming.

I kinda agree.

Boldy saying shyt like " I cook so much dope, I need two wristbands. And I ball so hard I need a headband."

but he admitted he was heavy on the lean and pills.

Art of Rock Climbing, he sobered up and was back to Trappers Alley Boldy.

www.alcrecords.com at noon EST this Friday.

He's done with Bandcamp and not selling anything through them anymore. So it sounds like all his material will be sold at this new website from now on.

And the Lulu Deluxe Edition is up next.

I was definitely about to look foolish waiting on Bandcamp :wow: good look breh. Might fukk around and go for the Grey October

Wow I didn't know any of that.

I definitely think his flow and word play are way improved. The word play on Running is really slick. Speed Demon is one of my least favorite beats on Tea in China but the flow on the 2nd verse is super dope to me. Perfect examples of why I like Boldy.
