There's no reason 500 copies of this album should be gone in a second. Actions, Currensy, and Fetti I was able to get and they dwarf Boldy in popularity. People just played games with this.
I don’t wanna let the game win, but this is my personal AOTY and I really think it’ll be looked at down the road as an underground classic. I really wanted this one. I got my debt paid off during covid and am luckily in a situation with low life expenses. I may just say fukk it and pay for a basic black vinyl on eBay.

I think I'm done trying to cop vinyls. I'm glad Freddie Gibbs does pre-orders. This boutique shyt is out of control. I went for the basic black vinyl. I hit buy now and nothing happened. So I went back and hit add to cart, but it had already been 60 seconds so obviously it said sold out.

I been getting Al vinyls since college radio since just before 1st Infantry. These new era Griselda fans done came in and taken over the vinyl copping game with Al. I swear it wasn't this hard a couple years ago. You used to have a good 3-5 minutes. Now it's like 30 seconds. I haven't even tried to get one in over a year, but thought I'd try the new website.

Never again. Maybe when I'm wealthy one day I'll pay eBay prices. But the way it is now is just stressful and not enjoyable.

I was just saying this "elsewhere", if you know what I mean. I've been buying wax since the late 90's and it's not even fun buying online anymore. At least for all these bougie limited records. It's just a race for resellers, and I'm not playing that. :manny:

Belvedere sample sounds so much like this sample he flipped way back but it’d be way too obvious and I know this isn’t it. What you posted is the real sample for sure.

Guy is seriously the man. Not sure that we'll wind up getting one, but at least future releases this will be prevented.
The one cat on eBay selling copies of all 3 vinyl colors got shook, took down his listing, and is telling people that bought them that he may not be able to deliver
:heh:

I wonder how many copies he actually ordered to be able to have an open listing like that for so many copies of all 3 colors

This here.

I've been collecting vinyl since the early 90's. And it's the same with sneakers now, resellers came in and are trying to cash in on product they don’t even care about. It's just another way to exploit culture. And it's not people that grew up with it either. I just copped Monch's Internal Affairs on vinyl a couple weeks ago. Orange vinyl, remastered on 180 grams, limited quantity pressed. I got a couple of copies for like $26 a piece. Brand new, sealed. Why would dudes pay $50 or $75 for a Boldy James project? LOL!! The OG versions of certified classics go for $75+, I'm not paying that for no damn Boldy James.

People get caught up in that hype too much. It ain't worth it.

He’s not an anytime rapper but in the right mood and especially driving at night? The album is incredible. Definitely gonna be an underground gem. Classic goon music.

Surf & Turf on high volume in the whip on quarantine-era streets at night :wow::ohlawd::damn:
