this sounds like it was recorded when Price of Tea in China was, a lot of the beats on both albums could be used on either, surf and turf, snort and scrape the bowl could be on here

@TheDarceKnight @savoutch
Price of Tea and Tecmo definitely have a few super spooky/gritty joints that weren't as prominent on Bo Jackson. From what I saw on IG Live, it did look like a lot of Tecmo was recorded here in 2021, and maybe this is just me, but my ears hear a pretty big difference between Boldy's raps from 2019/2020 to now. Some of it could be in my head, but I really think he leveled up on Real Bad Boldy, Bo Jackson, and Super Tecmo.
:hubie:
There's a an interview where they say they recorded like 50 songs this year, and that they made way more music for Bo Jackson than they made for Price of Tea. I'll try and find it. There's another video somewhere where Tipping Scales and Moth Flame are playing and Al says he wishes he'd put those on Bo Jackson. I love gritty records, so I'm kind of surprised at myself for liking Jackson more than China.

EDIT: And I want another album from them in 2022 :banderas:

Hey yo, I understand that Boldy dropped some good music with al and has some momentum. But can we please chill with spicy hot takes:russ:
that's fair :heh:

I'm just burned out of some GxFR stuff, and really tired of the GDMM hype combined with the delays, WSG complaining on social media, Benny hyping up TT4 with no release date in sight, etc.

I've been appreciating that Boldy and Mach just kind of move quiet and then drop music without hyping it up so much ahead of time.

Easily. His music is gonna last a lot longer. Benny is close though.
That's fair. Also, Conway's From King To a God is one of my favorite albums of the past few years. It's in my top 3 GxFR albums and I think it's aging very well. It might go down as my favorite album from the main 3 members.

Don't get me wrong I think the price of tea in China and bo Jackson are amazing. I consider this one a level under those 2.

might go to a Boldy show in a month or two. I don't know how well his style would translate to a show, but he's one of my favorite rappers and not a lot of artists end up in my state.
I want to catch a show also… @_genocidecutter_ saw him recently and said it was a dope show
