You and I both missed it. Crazy part I been knew about this since last week.

It was a reverse split. The company/etf/etn isn't any more valuable than it was before the reverse split. Same goes for your position. Your 10 shares at $1 a share would have become 1 share at $10 per a share. Most stock exchanges require share prices to be stay above $1 to avoid being delisted, so they perform reverse-splits to prevent that from happening.

But you could have still dumped and cashed out today am I correct? Not too sure brand new to this.

Say you bought 10 shares yesterday for $1 a share. 10 shares x $1 = $10 worth of shares.

This morning your 10 shares would have become 1 share with a market value of $10. 1 share x $10 = $10 worth of shares.

Nothing changed.

Right I understand that, my question is could you have dumped today and cashed out on the shares that was purchased yesterday for the share price today.
50 shares = 50.00 yesterday 50 shares cash out 500 today?

No. Your position automatically adjust to reflect the reverse stock split on the day of the split.
