TSLA just went from 173 to 161 in two hours. SMH. This seems like an easy intraday play.
It seems like a good buying opportunity for some companies after this bounce. I'm just staying put though. A trademark day for the SP500...bounced right off that 166 area.

Shame the SP500 didnt drag Broadcom down with it though :mjpls:

some reasons: possible war with syria that's why you're seeing US treasury yields down and gold up. durable goods numbers sucked. Italy acting like fukking morons again.

Edit: bill ackman getting out of JCP

Yea i read the syria thing...the durable goods numbers were what pushed it up though because of the tapering implications.

U.S. stocks fell, with the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index’s erasing earlier gains, after Secretary of State John Kerry said the president will hold Syria’s government accountable for the “moral obscenity” of using chemical weapons.

The S&P 500 fell 0.4 percent to 1,656.83 at 4 p.m. in New York, erasing an earlier gain of as much as 0.4 percent.

seems like a good buying opportunity to me. blantant overreaction to news that if anything would boost revenues for many firms in the SP500. Examples that come to mind are GM, GE, Lockheed Martin and KBR...all of which dropped with the news.

The upcoming Corvette Stingray which I think will be a smashhit amongst consumers will bring good sales to GM. Does that make it a good pickup?
