How much the typical American has invested outside of retirement accounts at every age.

getting rid of massive overhead is a plus in my book. they will hire them back when the business is back to normal.:manny:

I can see that strictly from a business/financial standpoint

but I’m definitely not confident that all those jobs will be restored

It's gonna be awhile for sure. I sold WYNN cuz i felt covid aint going nowhere for at least another 12 months. Business will boom again in the end cuz it's vegas, i aint gonna wait a year or two to get back on track. Same with airlines.

Definitely a balancing act. Need to enjoy life while "young" and health. Tomorrow isn't promised.

R.I.P Kobe R.I.P Chadwick R.I.P Charmander:rip:

That puts the balancing act in perspective pretty well.

We All Have a Stake in the Stock Market, Right? Guess Again

87% of the stock market is controlled by 10% of the richest families in the US.

World is a messed up place where money is far from being split well.

This thread hopefully motivates a few. 90% of people/posters should invest what they can afford and lock in long term. Short term is volatile and mostday traders lose.

I’m definitely gonna take advantage of the inevitable corrections/pullbacks/selloffs on TSLA to build a much deeper position. I’ll do the same with AAPL. It’ll be so cheap that I can do that pretty much whenever. I considered adding a couple more positions to the portfolio but I think I’d rather just double down on what I already have for right now.

during the hype of crypto I bought different coins at the peak that i never sold and got fukked still got those coins in my account that im holding:deadmanny: luckily i ony spent about 2k but still. This is the reason i've been very hesitant on buying almost anything, logically it makes 0 sense just seen that thread in tlr about mgm cutting 18k jobs and its stock i up 4,6%

All that money they saved on payroll went to the stock.

I'm wishing I could one day be part of that 10%. :lawd:

Fidelity is all sorts of messed up for me too. My Apple position is 80 shares at the $124 or so price but my account total in my individual is as if Apple was still $500 a share.

:mjlol: TSLA going to be included in the SP 500. People sleep on how major that is. TSLA is going to continue to rise for another 1-3 months minimum.
