This is ridiculous. My second M1 pie that I created a few weeks back is already up 35% I don't even wanna discuss my first M1 pie :wow:
60% 1st pie and 40% second pie....

I'm working on consolidating stocks. If shyt isn't moving, if I think it has zero chance of "really" moving, I'm cashing out.

Growth stocks only.

The portfolio is having a really bad day. Apple being up almost 4% means I’m positive for the day but everything else is barely up or down. Still trading sideways.
what stocks you own?

No Whammies!!
I'm so new to calls

Are calls sold in bundles of 100 stocks?

I'm not even sure if that question makes sense.

Like for that Tesla call, would you have to spend $150k for it?

And I guess a $1490 call gets weird after a split

each options contract is for 100 shares

you pay the premium up front

if you exercise the call then its 100 x call price

thats why most just sell the contract and close the position when its in the money rather than purchase the 100 shares

Yeah. Just to make it clear, I always try to sell a call at least two weeks before the expiration date if it is in the money. I don't ever want to be charged to buy 100 shares, but as long as you sell it before the expiration date that won't happen. So I'm only paying for the cost of the option (plus E-Trade's 50 cent commission per contract).

You're getting the profit from 150000 worth of stock, without having to pay 150000.

So are you saying to get my percentage up i should drop some holdings? But then don't want coverage for the pullback for instance?
