I use E-Trade for my individual account.

I'm so new to calls

Are calls sold in bundles of 100 stocks?

I'm not even sure if that question makes sense.

Like for that Tesla call, would you have to spend $150k for it?

And I guess a $1490 call gets weird after a split

Real question is, who's buying this shyt. :what:

I thot americans were broke. How the hell do people have so much money to buy a stock that costs as much as rent?

What about fractional trading? Wonder how they affects it. Cuz I don't even have a full share on my pie but combined with all the other pies plus I think rh does fractional and a few others. Can own part of Tesla for $200 or even $20. That might have some effect but not sure how much. Or even international traders who's economy has started to recover. I wonder if Tesla is listed on Canadian or other exchanges as well.

The portfolio is having a really bad day. Apple being up almost 4% means I’m positive for the day but everything else is barely up or down. Still trading sideways.

each options contract is for 100 shares

you pay the premium up front

if you exercise the call then its 100 x call price

thats why most just sell the contract and close the position when its in the money rather than purchase the 100 shares

Over time I wasn't to make more dividend plays like you mentioned you modeled your portfolio around. Not as heavy as you as I still wanna focus more on growth stocks. But which have you found the most benefit in in the last couple years that have given you solid returns in addition to the dividends?
