Real talk, I missed out on the AMR boom and should have got in on the ground floor 6 months ago.

Is there a stock that represents a city (like Detroit)? If so, I am trying to invest in them right now, since they are bankrupt, cause like American Airlines, the city is "too big to fail".

your best bet would be muni bonds for Detroit. They're bankrupt so I doubt any bonds are being issued in the near term but there's some out there. But they're going bankrupt so they'll be worth zero. I can't think of any businesses that are Detroit focused. You should probably look up a small business in Detroit and see if you can buy equity in it.

It's hard to say. It will drop when the Fed announces they're going to back off quantitative easing.

But we'll see I don't think the Fed is backing off anytime soon. Opinion seems split. Some are claiming bubble and others are saying you haven't missed the boat if you get in now.

like anything you see on the net you don't have to take it seriously. if there's nothing of interest to evaluate and digest then ignore the info.

personal note, i made a stack before the dot.com bust, but ignored warnings about the 2007/08 real estate meltdown and didn't make adjustments in time.
