This cop is dead wrong. I saw a similar scenario on a 'Cops', where a black dude was reaching around in the car, the cop maced him and he crashed the car...but he was still alive.
One more thing
they expect perfect behavior from black people, almost inhumane (no fear, no mental errors, no context or sense of history, no prejudice) and the acceptable price to them for failing to be perfect is death
that is all they need in order to accept the, criminally and malignantly, less than perfect behavior of the police officer enough such that they may equivocate on this life and death matter, and that they could dare attempt to muddy the clarity of our emotions.
yup breh got tired of calling moms and dads and wanted to be mr. tough guy officer
yupThere is nothing that could have been done differently. That cop was on a mission to fukk somebody up whether it was by baton, fist and foot, or bullets.
yupBet he was at the thought he could arrest someone instead of just dealing with a drunk college cac kid
yup soon as he rolled off campus , homey was thinkingBet he was at the thought he could arrest someone instead of just dealing with a drunk college cac kid
If you guys were sitting in that car at that moment, what would you have done differently?
using common sense has nothing to do with what happened to him, he did not flip out and attack the cop
we are better off pressuring city hall to hold police to a higher standard
don't forget it could be your son out there having a bad day and forgetting his common sense,
you would not kill him for that and the surrogate father on the street, which should be the cop, should not either
this is where you want to apply pressure
what you are saying everyone fukking knows, but we also know it ain't got no place in this conversation, as it pertains to this man being dead
people make mistakesI never said what happened was right but a lot could have been done differently. Knock on wood but know that my children will have the same sense that was instilled in me by my parents and maybe I'm wrong, but I ain't seen a nikka get shot on video by a cop yet that ain't make a funny move or did some type of resisting.
people make mistakes
the gradation of mistakes determines what is appropriate punishment or reaction
consider that the guy indicated that he did not want to get out of the car or be pulled out of the car
the officer could have (and this is the least that he could have done) stepped back, pulled out his weapon and ordered him to get out of the car and warn him that he will shoot him
this is one of a myriad of scenarios that, even though make little sense in the circumstances, make more sense than what the cop did, that is the good common sense we should be discussing because that is the one that has the more dire consequence, that is the one needed to be wielded by the "authority" figure
consider that, given the sequence and timing of his actions, he made up his mind that if the guy does not let me pull him out of the car I am going to shoot him
Dubose was dead the minute he pulled his door closed.
If you guys were sitting in that car at that moment, what would you have done differently?
Wtf is there to understand? These cops are trying to wipe you out and are using every excuse to do so. Patterns have been observed. It doesn't matter what you do, you will be killed when they feel like it. That's how the world works.I never said what happened was right but a lot could have been done differently. Knock on wood but know that my children will have the same sense that was instilled in me by my parents and maybe I'm wrong, but I ain't seen a nikka get shot on video by a cop yet that ain't make a funny move or did some type of resisting.
Again, none of the killings are justified but we always talking about "rights" and what should have happened...how about we observe patterns, understand how the world works, and use it to our advantage to live to see another day because I don't see nobody trying to start a revolution to end all this foul shyt
