If you guys were sitting in that car at that moment, what would you have done differently?
I wouldn't have gotten spooked I guess. I mean, I would have done anything to keep that mother fukker from shooting me but hindsight is 20/20

Gave him my license, which I woulda had on me. And if I didn't have it on me my concealed carry permit would have at least proved who I am or told him my DL # which you should know off the top of your head. I wouldn't have kept reaching around for shyt. I wouldn't have had a bottle of Gin on the floor. I woulda answered the fukkin questions, took the ticket, and went on about my business.

This pig deserves death by firing squad, but at this point we as nikkas know how these cops are...how hard is it to quit being so fukkin stupid and stubborn and just comply so that you live to see another day? We can't win this war against the biggest gang in the US so why not do what you can to live?

I agree.

:whatthehell?:

How about if I was the police officer, what would I have done differently?

What kind of dumb question is this?
What you mean, breh? It didn't have to go down like that at all. You can't feign ignorance when dealing with this mother fukkers, you'll get killed. Read @B86 post if clarification is needed

The moment dude says "I dont know (where my L's are) run my name." the confrontation shoulda have ended.

The guy gets a ticket, goes down to court with his L's and gets it dropped. This cop wanted to flex on a nikka. He had NO right to open dudes door, there is no compliance because there is no lawful order. "Take your seatbelt off" isn't something you have to do...

fukk this guy...send this nikka to the center of the state pen in max with the words "COP" tattooed on his forehead :pacspit:

How the fukk can you live with yourself after killing someone for not having a plastic card on them?

How can they live with themselves, dude, they daydream and fantasize about killing, maiming and mutilating people..they are sadistic..

I get the pushback that people have. But this is a good post. Compliance is one thing, and being ignorant is another. I think dude was on the line of being difficult but was still for the most part following directions. As far as the bottle of gin goes, i mean if dude just came from the store i mean :manny: Or what if he's about to turn up and a homies spot? Nothing illegal about that.

But to your point, we as black people gotta learn how to pick and choose our battles. Sandra Bland tried to fight her battle at the wrong time and in the wrong way with the wrong cop. You ARE NOT in an advantageous position during a traffic stop. You ARE NOT going to win the cop over with your knowledge of the "law". Fight the system in the courts, with your evidence, in a concise matter WITH legal council. You may/may not win...but you will be alive and you will get to go home.

I learned from Thecoli that You can't hold court in the street.

You aren't wrong by any means, but when are we gonna stop with this "he had no right" shyt? "Rights" obviously mean nothing, especially for us, so why not use common sense instead of worrying about what's written down on a paper as a "law"? Your rights REALLY don't matter when you're dead

For one I wouldnt have started up the car when the cop asked to remove your seatbelt. Appatently this wasnt Sams first run in with the cops about his front tag.

Sam Dubose, Ray Tensing: UC police officer said motorist was dragging him, so he shot him
"According to court records, police pulled Dubose over 13 times between 1995 and 2009 for only having one license plate. He was charged four times between those dates. He was also charged with driving under suspension eight times between 2005 and 2011."

Nothing justifies the cops actions cause he should have let sam drive off and follow him but after being pulled over 13 times for the same thing i would expect a brotha to smarten up..
