Just watched the finale. All I can say is

Theme of the season...."Women will ruin you" This season who ever was tied down to a woman got messed over.
1. Chalky- p*ssy ruined him..got his daughter killed.
2. Narcisse- Should have killed Chalky when he walked in the club (the one time being a savage would have been in his favor) Now he is a government "boy" (you know he HATES this shyt)
3. Harrow- Was the fukking Terminator last season. Gets married, loses his nerve, gets shot.
4. Eli- Wife was fukking running her mouth and that's how Nucky found out.

5. Nucky- Got rid of all p*ssy this season and survived.

If you had a woman this season you did not win. lol

Dont forget Purnsley wit the white broad 1st episode ...women were def. trouble this season...im sure Margaret will create some problems for AR next season too lol

Interesting how the episode was centred around fatherhood eli/harrow(rip)/chalky and yet this is a concept completely alien to nucky, given that he murders his own surrogate son jimmy and brings will aka jimmy lite into a life his own father knows is destructive doesnt want for him. Nucky is more fukked up than we given him credit for.

Having said that, I cant stop replaying eli beating the shyt out of knox

Chalky just wanted the hopen johns as a side. His wife didn't even make them.

That was some goddamn bullshyt. I watched that scene recently and got mad at her. Chalky was justified as hell in his anger. His wife was being uppity and looking down on him for having food that he liked.

I feel that Nucky's barely even a part of this show anymore. He's basically nothing, storywise, without Margaret, sorry to say. He had a little bit of a spark with Billie, and when she got blown away, I felt a bit bad for him. This season, he just doesn't inspire any emotion as a character....Even as the brains, he's pretty ineffective. At least once a season, we got to see him use his noodle and get a big win. Not here. Hey, that grand plan to assassinate Narcisse? Didn't go so well. How about getting Chalky safely out of town? Nope, not that either. Trying to steal away to Cuba? Ha ha, no.

If Bobby Canavalle can win an Emmy for his portrayal of Gyp Rossetti I think that Jeffrey Wright and Gretchen Moll, Michael K Williams should at minimum be nominated for supporting actor Emmy's. One could easily argue for Jack Huston and Michael Stuhlbarg as well. Too much talent in the cast to not nominate someone every year. If not then at the Emmy.

Jeffrey or Jack definitely. More Jeffrey though because he stole damn near every scene. But it might go to Jack since his character is no more

harrow hasnt been interesting since season 2, gillians storyline was more interesting than harrows this season respect for the work he put in the first two seasons, but good riddance

hoover ethered the fukk out of narcisse. all the bible talk, black power and big vocab and he really is just a low-life drug dealer now he's the government's bytch. whoever they cast for hoover is doing an excellent job btw

rewatching this again, alot of these scenes were beautifully shot

every time it says " Directed by, Tim Van Patten" that's when I know the episode is gonna be fire great directing by that man

He had to go man. When he’s not killing brehs are like Harrow fell off…like the majority of the past season.

He’s only interesting to posters when he’s dropping bodies

But if that’s all he did, it would get old quick. How lame and boring would it be if he’s consistently on a crazy kill streak…unscathed.

I bet Daughter Maitland probably was back in New Orleans in that last scene in some hole in the wall in the 9th ward.They probably gon show her gettin tossed by Jelly Roll Morton and his band members in season 5.
