I feel stupid realizing this now but Narcisse was always preaching like he was for the people.

It did make me think that every time I heard his name. It wouldn't surprise me if that was intentional.

as much as he tries to forget, he's still a nikka at the end with a conk. glad they didn't kill him off. I look foward to seeing him return next season for more fukkery.

as for torrio, I knew he wasn't gonna die. He still had to had off the outfit to al capone just like real life. I think torrio actually outlived capone.

me and my wife was talking about that after the show. my nikka tommy is going to have a hard life. his mommy died, then his dad died, then went to live with his granny in a whore house and was probably molested. his only bright spot during that period was richard and his girlfriend who went on to become his new parents only for his new daddy to die.

Clearly they are trolling us by having Doyle live. Though he is a character inspired by a real criminal. I'm glad they keep Doyle around though. He's good comic relief.

This is the first season of Boardwalk where I had to watch it the same night it aired. First three seasons were solid and mostly really good, but due to its meandering pace, I always found myself having 5-7 episodes to catch up on. Season 4 kind of started on a similar path (I'm sorry, but that time Nucky spent in Tampa was boring ) but by episode 5 onwards, season 4 was firing on all cylinders. This shows main problem in its first three seasons is that it wasted a lot of the viewers time by having us sit through episodes that heavily featured momentum killers like Gillian, Margeret etc leaving you to wonder what was the point of their plot threads in the first place. Season 4 is just the closest they've gotten in constructing a tight and compelling narrative all the way through.
