Sony hasn't sold more than the PS2 and the 3 was a decline but the 4 was an improvement over the 3 and the 5 is about in line with the 4. Microsoft has 2 straight generations of decline after the 360 and this one seems drastically worse than the last.

Microsoft stopped talking about Game Pass numbers for almost 2 years. They then took Xbox Live Gold which had nothing to do with Game Pass and rebranded it Game Pass Core. Those subs are now Game Pass members.
