You're gonna only have access to a very curated list of games.
yeah that by itself hasn't really worked before with psp or vita

And this handheld will be the “series s” of the line up. Coming in around 300. If this thing can cast/airplay to your tv somehow with low latency, or has hdmi out and allows you to connect to a big screen and play, even better.
If you have a 3-4 year cross gen period, then technically all ps6 games will be ps5 games as well.
Which means handheld will play cross gen ps6 games, along with ps5 consoles. With the emergence of PSSR, I think this will be feasible in 2028
Drop an upgraded version along with ps6 pro, if it does well, 4 years in.

they just broke people off for a marginal upgrade and there's going to be even greater bottleneck on components and this is before even thinking of inflation
there is literally no way the ps6 will be 500 bucks
PS6 will be $1300 sans disc drive and power cord according to @Wild self 's prophecy.
Yeah I was telling my friend that yesterday, an OLED portal with back paddles would be a pefect "Portal Pro" or successor. I just hope they don't abandon ideas for an upgraded Portal years from now and just essentially put those features onto a new expensive handheld.
