not yet, i'm 90% done on my second playthrough, getting things that i've missed. I need to get the alternate endings first then i'm gonna get the chalice dungeon trophy. which one is the queen?
The last boss of one of the deepest Chalice dungeons. Probably be the last trophy you get. Pthumerian Queen.

She's not that hard, but beating the necessary dungeons and bosses to get to her is some of the hardest stuff in the game. Especially the cursed/defiled dungeon.

Are the root chalices required to be beaten? I haven't done any of those since they are just random but I've been unlocking dungeons so far by beating the main chalices.

Couldn't help myself :francis: was one of those decisions I knew was terrible mid swing but had no choice at that point. I'll do her story line after I beat it and start over, but on my first play through this bytch is as good as dead .

Watch ya self, Eileen don't fukk around son

Updates :whew:

Decided to sack up and try the Hypogean Gaol...learned a few more parry windows with the bagmen and made my way outside to be greeted by this giant Warthog that I swore couldn't fit through the door but he could :beli:. Almost caught me lackin but I got him. I see I'm in unfamiliar territory so I go back the way I came :hamster: but decided to take a peek around the corner....off in the distance, I swear I see what looks like some figure walking 2 big ass dogs on a leash :dwillhuh:. I ran back inside before they could even see me :sadcam:. I then go down to the basement where I was put in a cell way back, kill a few more bagmen, some half dead prisoners, and some broad who will gouge your eyes out if she grabs you :dayum:. I find this hole leading to the outside and see this gigantic beast just waiting for somebody to run up :merchant:. I almost turned back until I saw below where I could summon an NPC hunter for help, so at this point I'm like 'fukk it, I can get some help and I've only got 8k souls to lose...what could possibly go wrong? :qpsmug:" Not much really :ld:. It was the beast Paarl and honestly, all I had to do was hack away at his limbs to make him fall and then just wail on him. He was fast, but was a bit too distracted to focus on me :mjpls:. I lit the lamp and found a shortcut into Old Yharnam. At this point, I realize I aint got shyt else to do but fight this boss that's supposed to be at the end of the Forbidden Woods so I cash in what souls I had and go try him out :manny:.

Had to go through the shortcuts twice though because one of the warthogs that occupy the mud lakes caught me lacking and pinned me up against a wall :martin:. So I make my way to the boss area....and it's 3 of these shadows just waiting to jump you :cokedout:. I almost got overwhelmed because one shoots fire from a distance, one shoots fire dead in your face, and the other wields some long range kitana :mindblown:. Somehow, someway, and 11 vials and 14 bullets later, I take out all 3 on the first try :banderas:. This is the fight that convinced me locking on aint always your friend.

Not required, but the F/R/C dungeons gives you by far the dopest gems and runes in the game

I played yesterday after taking a couple days off, and man, you really gotta stay on point with this game. Took me a bit to get back into a rhythm. I had been kidnapped the last time I played and found my way out of the Hypogean Gaol. So before I went back, I decided to finally fight Amelia. Left the Cathedral safe zone, kill the Frankenstein out there, then noticed one of them damn kidnappers roaming around. The fukk? I tested to see if they could go into the church, and nope, they're blocked from entering too.

Anyways, I kill him, but he gets a shot on me, so I go back to Hunter's Dream real quick to fully heal, and decide to spend the rest of my Echoes, and noticed I could get Ludwig's Sword. Didn't have enough, so I go grinding, get the sword, and get it up to +4 real quick. Go fight Amelia, and died a bunch of times. She's not even that hard, I just get caught being stupid. I switch back to the Saw Spear +3 (better for beasts), and fukk her up. Go back and talk to Alfred, then hit the door to the Forbidden Forest. I go in, see all them dudes, figure I have no idea where a lamp might be and it's late, so I turn back. Decide to hit up Hypogean Gaol again for grinding echoes/whatever, and the first Kidnapper I kill hooks me up with enough twin shards to +5 my sword, and I'm like fukk it, I'll try to find enough to +6. Exit the church there, and hear that first pig, then see the 2nd one. Yeah, how the fukk did it get in the door? SMH. Then the other one can climb stairs and fits into a small ass space on a platform too. Kill them, see the glowing orb at the end of the wall, think I'm gonna fukk that Kidnapper up real quick, and like 10 fukking dogs just swarmed me. Dead. I get back, get rammed by the pig, dead again. 19k echoes down the drain. SMH. Finally get to the orb and get the Tonitrus.

I also found an area where 2 hunters initially are, one with I think the Tonitrus, and another one that shoots alot (he was a bytch to kill). There's a set of stairs that goes down and leads to another area with 2 Executioners, along with 2 shooters that you can only get too from another spot from above (which I found too). Anyways, I killed one of the Executioners quick, then I'm getting shot, so I ran past the other one into the next area. It had like a blue well or some shyt in it. Wasn't sure if it was a boss fight or what, so I turned around and ran back the way I came. I'll probably go there first when I fire the game up again before heading into the Forbidden Forest.

Game is just fun as hell, even when you're grinding for shyt, it never gets boring to me. It's cool how the atmosphere changes after boss fights too. After fighting Amelia, some enemies are just gone, the Giants were sleeping, and everything just seems quieter and more eerie. Makes the game that much better.

Updates :martin:

Reached the Byrgenwerth library area. I've now discovered these new insect enemies that don't do much damage but will hop on your head and raise your frenzy :martin:. Apparently 30 Vitality is paying off because my frenzy bar was filled but I didn't die...was just left with a sliver of health remaining :whew:. And don't even try to fight them head up either...you are NOT getting a combo in :beli:. Best thing you can do is slash and dodge back. Maybe you'll get 2 hits if you dodge the hop. I move a little further, and I find this infected looking woman near a tree...I try to sneak up on her with no avail. It turns out this heffa is a bloodsucking leech of some sort :francis:. She caught me lacking and took 41k echoes from me, and if that wasn't enough, she stole 4 insight from me that I can't even get back :pacspit:. I get my echoes back and keep it moving. More wasps lurking but I reach the main library...and it's about the biggest, hairest spider looking motherfukker just waiting for me :merchant:. Let's have it shoot fire too because why the fukk not :martin:. It can't do much other than vomit when you're all in it's (p*ssy looking) face but I don't do much damage to it compared to everything else. I slash like hell to kill it and open the gate near the lamp for a new shortcut :whew:. I go inside the library only to be greeted by this female hunter with what looks like the threaded cane :stopitslime:. I was about to give this broad the business but apparently she has some magic attack that shoots everywhere and kills you instantly :skip:. I go back in the room, grab my echoes, and throw all caution to the wind because I'll be damned . Had to parry that heffa like 3-4 times before I could kill her. I make my way up the library, find a key, then open the locked door inside only to find this waiting for me:

Motherfukker couldn't even be bothered to get up :dame:. I call it quits for the night because I'm sure this is about to be some drama and my dualshock battery is low. Worse comes to worst, I'll just call on this NPC hunter that was placed ever so conveniently near this door :sas1:.
