I wouldn't have an issue with him making anything...I would just see him putting a sign up saying "Black-Owned" as sort of disingenuous since he's biracial. These people want to be able to put Black-owned and we have to accept it but they understand they can't put Asian owned because the Asian community would be quick to call them out. Like if my son put "Tamil-owned" on his hypothetical store, them racist ass Indians would be lined up around the block ready to let my son know he isn't Tamil.
how is it disingenuous if hes half black/ADOS tho:heh:? hes black/ados and if he identifies as such, thinks like such, and even hires other black americans how are you still gonna think thats "disingenuous" for him to have a black owned business?

@bold: we seen asian people root for people who are mixxed, we saw indians claim to Kamala despite her mixture. there have been Asians who try to claim HER despite her being half ADOS.

so no, there will be indians who will suport that Tamil shop. But in America there is a Hypodescence where Half ADOS people mostly identify with their black/ADOS side.

I frame it that way so that he understands the ramifications of his actions. I'm typing it and thinking it through at the same time. I think my guidance would be that he could put it up but he needs to be ready to explain that he has an FBA father. My son is still young but he talks Black so I don't think anyone would even question him...you can tell he's Black but you can clearly see he's mixed...but he definitely identifies with FBA culture.

Petty Vandross.. fukk Yall

Twitter thread was interesting before the article
So it seems to be a lot ambiguity going on in this “saga”
But I’m looking at the deeper problem
They really trying to make black people the face of racism, bigotry, and xenophobia
This will gain traction due to the strife Asians are facing at the moment
I can already see
See black people don’t even like half Asian people
They just hate us all
Which is the furthest from the truth
Black people are the most accepting muthafukkas on the planet
Always fighting for others
And if you brought a girl home from another race
Ma Dukes or whoever would welcome them with open arms
Now they may jones on your ass once that person leaves but your folks acted according to how your girl was
Only caveat is your grandparents would go in just because of what they went through in Jim Crow
But let you take your black ass (black women are not exempt from experiencing this) to a friends house of Asian descent or you fukking on a paag :francis:
Cut that tension with a machete :francis:
The point of this post is just to point out the hypocrisy going on and the clear agenda to bring back the black boogeyman
Folks really need to pay attention to what time it is
I don’t know who to believe in this scenario but it’s always deeper than rap:francis:

The idea of what black is in America has always included people that are genetically biracial.
The reality is no such thing as biracial in America. if you have black blood you are black,
and if you're white and asian than you are going to be whatever you look like the most.

DMV
I been exposing them on Yelp, Twitter, IG,etc.

Ive been finding a lot of Indian restaurants claiming they’re black owned restaurants.

One cac owned breakfast spot in Chicago reached out to me & said they didn’t know how they got on the list(:shaq2:).

I got into a back & forth with Thompson Hospitality. They’re a black owned company that owns hella restaurants in the DMV but use white faces as the “face” of their restaurants, which I think is odd :dwillhuh:. They have one burger spot in Loudon Va that advertises about being black owned but the about section is all about a cac who’s life long dream was to make the best burger in the US.

I caught a Mexican in Raleigh too:umad:.

My daughter is blindian and i would feel some type of way if she tried something like this. I consider her black and indian yes, but she looks indian and the whole point of all this racial shyt isn’t genetics.

Yeah I just thought about this...my son is Half-Indian (I'm Black American) and...

If he had "Black-owned" on an establishment of his. I'd be like: :stopitslime:

"sooooon ok you are my blood but this sign is low-key a stretch" :hubie:

If he put "Tamil-owned" every Indian in the Bay would come to the shop to tell him he wasn't Tamil...them muhfucaz racist as shyt.

So if Halle Berry of Mariah decided to open a jewelry shop and put a "black owned business" sign out front, y'all would really have a problem with that?

And you're not raising your children to have a black orientation?

Not judging or anything just find it interesting. You don't really hear the views of Coli fathers with mixed-race children on here too much.

Okay breh with all due respect because ur a pretty cool poster
But that setup is pretty silly. Lol

There's a better way to set ur Son up for being ready when he gets questioned on his blackness
Plus your son owes nobody a explanation. He's half ADOS that's how he identifies nobody can do anything about that

And the fact he is already FBA acting, looks it, already shows you right there

I would just tell him there's some dumbass people out there who are gonna say stupid shyt to you. But I'm not a father so hey:hubie:

My son is still young but he definitely speaks African American Vernacular English and I always have him listening to Malcolm X, MLK, The Black Authority, Tariq, Professor Black Truth, and etc and he is developing an FBA mentality. But he is biracial...not taking anything away from him but that is who he is...if he wants to identify purely with his FBA side that's on him but he got some curry in there too and I want him to be equally proud of that side too.

1.Non black man listed as owner?

2.No black people working there?

3.Husband named Tyrone:mjlol:?

We definitely need some clarity,if shes wenching her kids wont be black,so she gave up her blackness with that move. With that said I don't care and no longer believe in black business. That "black money" going right back to white banks,as those black owners seek to go to live in non black neighbrohoods:francis:

Socially, you're 100% right...genetically, you're not. No matter what, my son does not have two Black parents and nothing will ever change that. If he wants to internalize the one drop rule, that's on him and I'll support that but he doesn't have two. But with that said...he is very culturally FBA and is developing an understanding of how fierce we are and how all these people leech off us. He be dropping gems at his mom's house and in school...he's gonna be straight and I combat any c00n shyt I hear. That nikka told me Michael Jackson touched kids...he got the longest lecture and I told him never to disrespect our Black American heroes...I showed him the proof and evidence and all that..
