This whole article sounds like a Coli thread twist from a troll poster 2hrs after the original thread flops.
But in all seriousness , this topic is typical divide and conquer, trying to get black people to attack ourselves, rather than progress forwards and outwards. It’s actually a decent pattern weve seen from the dominant society. They do this especially after a period of black unity and protest. They did it in 92’ after the Rodney king protests. Multiple white owned publications from the NYT, to theBaltimore sun to the WashPost started printing nonesense about “what does it mean to be black?” Or “racial confusion within black society” or even whether black people could decide these things for themselves. Keep in mind that the SF chronicle (where @Get These Nets article came from) is also a white owned media outlet. The editors got a puppet to write this thing out for them cause cacs couldn’t do it themselves.
They also signal boosted MJ’s “black or white” (from the prior year 1991) and MJ’s own brand of weirdness after Rodney King protests , the same way they are currently highlighting that mixed nfl player. It’s the same WS playbook. Wash rinse and repeat.
It bothers me that black people are still repeating history nearly 2 generations later. Cause when we are talking about this, nobody is talking about building

He should have done more research before those posts. He could have gotten her name and looked up the business records instead of just relying on google. I don't think that the yelp response would have been the same if he provided actual information from the public business records.if the whole thing is a farce and it isnt black owned, then i dont blame bruh

My daughter is blindian and i would feel some type of way if she tried something like this. I consider her black and indian yes, but she looks indian and the whole point of all this racial shyt isn’t genetics. But people treating you a certain way based on your outward appearance. Nobody is doing an ancestry test to determine how they should discriminate against you. Be sensitive to that and take responsibility for any misunderstandings that occur as a result. Don’t go around making other black people seem racist while claiming the benefits of your blackness at the same time. Its hyprocitical.

The problem is that the restaurant on Google initially said it wasn't Black owned, there's currently no Black staff, and the lady looked Filipino so that's why they questioned her.

I wouldn't have an issue with him making anything...I would just see him putting a sign up saying "Black-Owned" as sort of disingenuous since he's biracial. These people want to be able to put Black-owned and we have to accept it but they understand they can't put Asian owned because the Asian community would be quick to call them out. Like if my son put "Tamil-owned" on his hypothetical store, them racist ass Indians would be lined up around the block ready to let my son know he isn't Tamil.
