You said this. "Nowadays, it's like only one parent is allowed to be black". But now reading your post again I see

You wouldn't know they were mixed without researching the kids background. They look like black people to me.

That's what I meant by Yall doing too much. Looking for problems with everything.
If someone thinks dark skin people are underrepresented then there is no issue with someone investigating it.

You are too sensitive to the discussion of racial topics.

I brought up the kids because @wickedsm brought up Denise and Sondra. And they don't look black to me. I definitely knew they were mixed, especially Jennifer Freeman. Smh at people all of a sudden not being able to tell when someone is black or acting like a large majority of black people look mixed or you can't tell. I could tell Tisha is black despite her being light skin. No wonder Rachel Dolezal was able too pass, some people think a tan makes a black person.

That's not what he said though.

In realty medium skinned black people are the majority in America. These families do look like the average black family.

Breh, tisha looks more "mixed"'than the kids.

Looks like they cast two kids that look like dad, and two that look like mom.

You advocating for racial quotas in these shows?

They should have turned away kids that fit the rolls cause hey aren't black enough?

YOU do know that there are mixed people who are darkskin and there are people with two dark skin parents who are very light skin or redbone right?

Since when has Tisha been mixed? I never heard of that or does it say anywhere that she is. Her mother looks like a light skin black woman, though I haven't seen pictures of her father. So obviously we know light skin black people exist, I'm one. But light skin black people should not be interchangeable with biracials. Why couldn't those parts go to light skin black kids? Why does the black family have to come off as diverse? I don't recall them doing this for anyone else.
Nobody in this thread knew those girls were biracial until you said it. There are biracial people who look like light-skinned black people and light-skinned black people who look biracial. And as far as diversity portrayed in black families, why would that be outlandish if the parents are 2 different shades? If I married a woman darker than me all our kids wouldn't be one complexion.
