Dark skin is the standard for Blackness. The only arbitrary aspect is the tone at which one measures dark skin.

No matter where you draw the cutoff, the average Black person is dark skinned.
That is just facts. And if you are trying to corner the Black dollar, let's start playing the averages; instead of against them.

Who didn't grow up watching the Cosby show and wonder about the two oldest daughters?
That ish was clear as day, even to me.

That's why i give props and spit on The Fresh Prince of Belair at the same time.
They replaced classic Aunt Viv with generic lightskin lady, but when it came to Nicky, he was a darker little boy when a lot of the older shows would've thrown a Richie at us.

My Wife and Kids was a bad look so i didn't watch it myself.

Richie looked like Rachel though.

Both daughters on FPOB were mixed. One is half white the other is half Indian.
